About Our Crew

Captain Mike and Captain Melissa at anchor in Paradise Lake. Captain Mike has owned and operated this charter business for over 27 years in Bermuda.

In the off-season the crew can also be found sailing the waters of the Virgin Islands, or the Gulf Coast of Florida!

Captain Mike has logged over 35,000 miles on the open ocean and has many sea stories to share to those who ask. Captain Mike has lived in Bermuda since the age of 8, and has had a lifelong love affair with the Sea. Captain Mike and his wife Penny co-authored the guidebook "Yachtsman's Guide To Bermuda".

Both Capt. Mike and Capt. Melissa have an intimate knowledge of their island home and are happy to share their knowledge with guests, both above and below the crystal clear waters. Captain Mike has trained and worked as a marine diesel mechanic for 20 years.

About Captain Melissa

Melissa's first home was aboard the 41' Morgan Yacht "Ocean Spirit" where she began her sailing adventure.  She grew up helping her dad, Captain Mike, on the charter boats.  At the age of 18 Melissa obtained her marine pilots license to captain charter yachts in Bermuda. She is currently the only female charter sail boat captain in Bermuda. Melissa loves to snorkel the reefs and shipwrecks surrounding Bermuda's waters and enjoys sharing her knowledge.  Captain Melissa specializes in small groups and private charters.
